Question:
I am trying to hook my toshiba satellite L300 up to run to tv. I have got some cables that fit both L300 and tv through the VGA connection, but I’m not getting pictures. Please advise.

If you do indeed have the correct cables that allow you to connect the VGA output on your notebook to the TV, you still need to do two things–1) Set the TV to display image from the correct input and 2) Enable the VGA output on the notebook. The TV’s input selector will usually be right on the remote in its on-screen display menu. And to enable the VGA output on the notebook, ensure the cables are properly connected and then head in the display properties to enable multiple displays.
