Question:
Why isn’t my Toshiba satellite A100 turning on? I was away for 5 wks and left it at home. When i got home it just didn’t turn on even when hooked up to two different power cords that do supply power. What could it be? It was better than fine before i left.

Hello, this is a tough one. Was it plugged in when you left? May be there was a power surge that fried something (hopefully just a fuse). If not, I’m having a hard time to imagine what else that could be. Just a question: are you sure that there’s electricity coming out of that particular wall socket? You can also try to remove the battery and try to run your computer without it (it should have worked with, but I’m fishing here…)
