Question:
Cracked a300d laptop screen. Where do I purchase a new screen?? Is this fixable?? Is an l300 screen compatible? This is only a 2 month old lap top and I just cracked it and it is bleeding its from all the way top to bottom. Do I have to take it to shop? its a 15.4″ screen. Any help?

I’m sorry to hear about the screen, however, this is not something that is generally repairable by an end-user. If you’re feeling brave, you might be able to find a distributor that sells LCD screens, and they will be able to let you know which ones are compatible. I do not recommend this unless you are very familiar with this sort of thing, and have replaced one in the past. As for taking it to a shop for repair, they will almost always tell you that it will cost close to the same for a new screen as it would for a brand new laptop.
